Along the process of putting Imagine Jordi together, we have realized that it would be impossible for us to pull this off on our own. Praise be to God that some friends we have contacted have already sent their artwork to us! :) If you're reading this, thank you so much!!
If you're interested in partnering with us, there are several ways you could help us.
One, spread the word! A big thank you to Romy for putting a link to this site on your blog. If you know of any artist friends that would be interested in contributing, please forward this link to them too. If you know of anyone who would be in the area (Alexandria, VA) around that time period (tentatively the second weekend of May, still vague I know...) please invite them to stroll through our auction and learn more about Jordi Village!
Two, if you yourself have artistic creations that you would like to contribute, please contact us!
What sort of artwork are we looking for? Paintings, illustrations, collages, photography, sculpture, furniture, jewellery, you name it! There are no 'criteria' you have to meet. We just ask you to use your sound judgment and discretion in considering the nature of this event. Although there is no limit to the number of artwork you may submit, due to limited space, artwork should be no larger than 36"x48".
Mail submissions to me, Heidi Chan at 6 E. Linden st. Alexandria, VA 22301 OR if you are working off of a hard copy, you could print them online using your favorite printing service and direct them to a local CVS / camera store near me (coupon links available on our website!)Include with any artwork: Your name, contact information, return address, and preference (if any) for starting bid price. Framing or mounting your artwork is highly encouraged, but any work submitted will be mounted on a standard black or white mat board otherwise.
Since we are aiming at a deadline of the first week of April, please feel free to email us if you've any questions!
